MiniFlex R&D During the Pandemic

It was a long and lonely pandemic, but we spent this time wisely doing some deep R&D to explore new ideas & designs. This work came to fruition in 2021, when we showed prototypes of a new design - the studio2Mic™ to our lead endorsing artists, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and Adam del Monte. All of these world-famous performing artists agreed this was the recorded tone quality they needed, both for studio recording and live performances. Adam reports that he had one session where the "engineers put away their Neumann mics and just used the prototype studio2Mic to record my guitar. " We had great plans for a big release of the studio2Mic in September of 2021, but then the Dixie Fire intervened and turned MiniFlex Microphones into a pile of twisted metal and ash.
